Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What makes B2C Different?

B2C Air Services doesn't use typical technicians to do the work on your equipment. We only hire HVAC technicians that have full time employment with a commercial HVAC company.  We do this because commercial technicians have much higher levels of knowledge and ability which provides you with higher quality work on your equipment.  Our technicians work nights and weekends so you don't need to take off work during typical work days to get service or installation.

2. Do you provide labor warranty for installations?

Yes we provide a 1 year labor warranty for any equipment we install which when combined with the manufacture part warranty allows you to get $0 cost work on anything that could go wrong with your new system in the first year.

3. Do you provide preventative maintenance or service work?

Yes we do!  We provide 2x a year preventative maintenance options as well as scheduled service calls.  Our technicians work nights and weekends which many of our customers love since they don't need to take off work for day time visits.

4. Why is regular HVAC maintenance important?

Regular HVAC maintenance helps ensure your system is running efficiently, which can save you money on energy bills. It can also prolong the lifespan of your unit, prevent costly repairs or breakdowns, and ensure a healthier and more comfortable indoor environment.

5. How often should I have my HVAC system serviced?

We recommend having your HVAC system serviced twice a year, ideally in spring and fall. This is to prepare your system for the cooling and heating seasons, respectively.

6. Why is my HVAC system making noise?

If your HVAC system is making unusual noises, it may be due to loose or damaged components, a lack of lubrication, or an issue with the blower motor. It's best to have a professional inspect the unit to diagnose and fix the problem.

7. What are some signs that my HVAC system needs repair or replacement?

Some signs include inconsistent temperatures, unusually high energy bills, excessive noise, frequent cycling, and noticeable decrease in air quality. If your unit is over 15 years old, it may be more cost-effective to consider a replacement rather than repair.

8. What should I consider when buying a new HVAC system?

Consider factors such as the size of your home, your local climate, your budget, energy efficiency, and specific features you may want, like programmable thermostats or zoned heating and cooling.

9. What is a programmable thermostat?

A programmable thermostat allows you to set your HVAC system to adjust the temperature at different times of the day. This can save you money by reducing energy use when you're not home.

10. How can I reduce my energy costs?

Regular maintenance, proper insulation, using programmable thermostats, and replacing old, inefficient units can all help reduce your energy costs. Also, consider investing in energy-efficient appliances.

11. How can I improve my indoor air quality?

Changing your air filters regularly, scheduling routine HVAC maintenance, and investing in air purifiers or dehumidifiers can significantly improve your indoor air quality. Recently indoor air quality or IAQ has seen a lot of advancements in technology.  We offer a wide selection of options to improve your home's indoor air quality.
